Welcome to the 14th Deaf Fest!

 

The NJDAW Board of Trustees is pleased to be hosting the 14th Deaf Fest on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick, New Jersey with free admission, parking, entertainment, and activities for the children.

 

 

The purpose of Deaf Fest, a Cultural Celebration, is to promote awareness and education among the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and Hearing communities.

 

We are looking forward to having all of you join us along with several agencies, companies and non-profit organizations as they exhibit their information and products.    

   

This year, we will have a mistress of ceremonies, Evelina Gainia.   The family entertainment will be presented by Dack Virning, Dan Cook and deaf magican, Steve Weiner.  There will be a plenty of food vendors, exhibits and children activities at Kiddie Korner. This event is sponsored by New Jersey Association of the Deaf (NJAD) and New Jersey Registry Interpreters for the Deaf (NJRID). It starts from twelve noon to three pm.

 

 

The planning and preparation for Deaf Fest 2017 is truly a huge task. We extend our thanks to the committee, volunteers and friend for continuing their hard work and contributions their continued support of NJDAW is greatly appreciated. We also want to give a special thanks to NJ Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for their ongoing support in providing communication access at the Deaf Fest.

 

 

We are looking forward to seeing all of you there on September 24th from 10am to 5pm. We know you will come away with wonderful memories.
