Co-Chair's Greeting...

From Co-Chairs, Carl N. Anderson and Lauren Lercher

Here's the news you've all been waiting for!  We invite you to share in our excitement and pride by taking part in the upcoming DEAF FEST - A Cultural Celebration on Sunday, September 18, 2005 with free admission, parking, entertainment, and activities for kids!

The site for
DEAF FEST 2005 has been relocated to the address shown below.  The committee has chosen this location because we felt it was the best location for our purposes; the fairground is located in the center of the state and is close to major roads. As safety was one of our concerns, we made sure that the location is secure.

Middlesex County Fairground
Cranbury and Fern Roads
Route 535
East Brunswick, NJ 08816

The preparation for staging the
DEAF FEST 2005 event is a great task, which has required much cooperation from several corporations, organizations, individuals who are both deaf and hard of hearing, and the Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  The DEAF FEST 2005 committee planned and prepared the entire event.  Please take the opportunity to greet old acquaintances and make new friends in the warm and friendly atmosphere of  DEAF FEST 2005.  Come and enjoy the exhibitors and entertainers who will be at this year's DEAF FEST.

We want to thank the NJ Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for continuing in making the announcement in their Monthly Communicator publication and for their ongoing support to provide the interpreting services for the DEAF FEST 2005  We are fortunate in having such a fine Deaf organization, Northwest Jersey Association of the Deaf, sponsoring and preparing the Kiddie Korner at every DEAF FEST since 1994.

We also want to extend our thanks to our committee, volunteers, and friends for their continuing efforts to make DEAF FEST 2005 a success.  We are looking forward to seeing all of you there and hope that when you go home after DEAF FEST 2005, you will take with you some wonderful memories about this exciting event.
